Hey Guys
I hope you are all doing well. Hannah has been feeling up and down, but has been very involved and upbeat anyways. The naseau will hopefully be gone soon enough. I think she's in her 10th or 11th week now. Other things continue to weigh on her as well. Light cold symptoms and dehydration seem to be continually attempting to bring her down. Thanks for all your prayers. Our team on the whole has been very fortunate thus far. I have been great, as have most, but a couple have had a some 24 hour stomach issues. Nothing major though. God has covered us thoroughly! One of our peers Amy has been battling breathing issues, but has ben able to get through it with occasional rest.
We have been able to spend some great time with the kids in the Hope Of Glory Foundation orphanage and successfully finished building our first house last week. We are hoping to have two more built this next week. Things take so much longer to get done over here! Not just because we don't have more common tools like wheel barrows either. It just takes sooo long to get supplies and even then you must be creative b/c their hardware supply stores have very little selection and pretty a pretty primitve selection by our standards. The only thing remaining on the first house in laying the stone on the floor. You might think concrete would be sufficient, but apparently the cat sized rats tend to chew through the 2nd rate concrete to get in if you don't cover it with some denser materials!
This evening we are all heading to Dr. Lalita's home to visit with her and the children she cares for. For those of you who do not know her, she is a Indian woman who set aside her personal practice to care for HIV children.
Well, I meant to write more, but I'm out of time......
More soon. I promise!
Love
Jason and Hannah
